Who we are
I grew up in St. George. After being away for 16 years my lovely wife of 4 years and I brought our 2 amazing children, 16 mo and 3.5, home to settle near family. Construction has been a part of my life since I graduated high school. As long as I can remember being outside and using my hands, whether it's building a house, fishing, hiking or tending my yard has been my passion. I take extreme pride in my work. Sometimes my OCD takes over pushing my projects above and beyond the "industry standard". My entire adult life has been spent working for other people, but now it's time that I take what I can do with my skills and work for myself. Knowing that my serious attention to detail will be seen in every job that I complete. This new step will allow me to provide for my family and help those in our community.
My Experience
I have always been that person who can fix anything. Repair knowledge is not enough without skills. From woodworking to electrical installation, I have fostered all of the skills you need for household repairs and improvements. I got my start in the construction industry here in St. George from S&S Homes. In the 5 years that I was with them, I learned a plethora of skills, from cutting concrete to being a foreman. I owe much of my handiness to them. I spent 2.5 years in San Diego. There I worked on multi-million dollar homes learning and honing my skills in finish carpentry.
Then I spent 13 years in Spokane WA. There I worked for a friend that I had met in San Diego finishing basements. During this time, I learned many good tips and tricks from a very skilled painting contractor, how to do basic plumbing and electrical and some drywall techniques.
I took a small break from construction as my job and became a lawn and tree care expert. While at this company I also did professional Christmas decorations for a well known franchise. I LOVE to decorate for the holidays. One thing that separates me from the other Christmas Light companies here is St. George is, professional install. I saw a lot of sloppy work my first Christmas back. Also there was a lack of daytime decor, wreaths and garland, etc. Christmas decor will have a new standard in this town.
